As believers, we must live our lives with a Biblical worldview. The scripture should always be our standard for faith and practice. However, we must not pick verses merely to prove our position, or justify our way of thinking.
Read 2 Timothy 2:15 to see how to accurately handle God’s Word. Also, look at 2 Peter 1:20-21 to understand what inspiration means.
Finally, go back to 2 Timothy 3:16-17 to see what scripture is inspired and profitable for.
We must always consult scripture as our guide, but be careful with private interpretations.
