Each of us has a story to tell, no matter how long ago we repented and accepted Jesus as our Savior. Think back about your own experience, and how you would relate that experience to someone with whom you’re sharing.
In Chapter 5, Erik mentions Paul’s story of redemption. Read Acts 9:1-31. Examine Paul’s conversion experience, and what he did once he accepted Jesus as Lord. As you share the Gospel story, remember God’s grace and salvation through Jesus’ sacrifice is primary. However, we need to personalize our experience and live out our faith so that others will see the relevance of knowing Jesus. Our story is the beginning. After they know what God has done for you, then you can share the other teachings of Christ.
