Compare and observe different information in Luke and John.
Consider all who took part in Jesus’ punishment and ultimate crucifixion.
What were their motives?
In John 19:10-12, what does Pilate say about his authority? What is Jesus’ response? In light of this information and other scriptures (found in the New Testament), ultimately, why was Christ put to death?
